0. Introduction & Legal Identity

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, and protection of information by INSPYR FINNOVATION PRIVATE LIMITED, operating under the brand name Biocog (“Biocog”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”).

This Policy applies to all users, customers, partners, and entities accessing or using the Biocog platform (“User”, “You”).


1. Scope & Applicability

This Policy applies to visitors, registered users, and paid customers across India, emerging markets, and other jurisdictions where Biocog operates.

  • Data Fiduciary / Controller for direct users
  • Data Processor for enterprise, banking, or institutional customers where contractually agreed
This Policy is designed to align with the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, GDPR principles (where applicable), and emerging market data protection regimes.

2. Data We Collect

Business & Financial Data

GST details, invoices, supply chain data, transactional records, operational metrics, and accounting data.

Sustainability & ESG Data

Activity data, emissions-related information, IoT or satellite data, and derived sustainability indicators.

Voice & Interaction Data

Voice inputs, transcripts, and conversational logs used for onboarding and support.

Technical & Usage Data

Device information, IP address, logs, access timestamps, and platform usage metrics.

Account & Identity Data

Name, email address, authentication credentials, and organization details.


3. Purpose of Data Processing

  • Carbon and emissions estimation
  • ESG intelligence and reporting
  • Climate finance and carbon monetization enablement
  • Fraud, anomaly, and misuse detection
  • Platform security and integrity
  • Improvement of AI models and platform performance

4. AI Processing & Model Training

  • Unauthenticated user data retained up to 3 months
  • Authenticated or paid-user data retained up to 18 months
  • Data may be used to train and improve proprietary AI systems
  • Users may opt out of future AI training by emailing biocog.v1@gmail.com
  • Aggregated, anonymized, and learned model parameters are irreversible and non-deletable

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Biocog does not sell personal or business data.

  • Enable green loans, registries, or climate finance
  • Comply with legal or regulatory obligations
  • Authorized service providers under confidentiality
Shared data is hashed, anonymized, non-reversible, and protected via audit trails and ledger systems.

6. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption, access controls, and regional caching where required.

  • Encryption at rest and in transit
  • Role-based access controls
  • Audit logs and monitoring
  • Incident response procedures

7. Legal Basis & Compliance

Processing is based on user consent, contractual necessity, or legitimate interest, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.


8. User Rights

  • Request access or correction of data
  • Request deletion of identifiable personal data
  • Withdraw consent for AI training
  • Raise grievances or complaints
Certain rights may be limited where data has been anonymized or aggregated.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained only as long as necessary for stated purposes, contractual obligations, or legal requirements.

Upon termination, data may be deleted or anonymized unless legally required or incorporated into aggregated intelligence.


10. Sub-Processors & Third Parties

Biocog may engage sub-processors including cloud providers, AI vendors, and analytics partners, bound by contractual data protection obligations.


11. Cross-Border Transfers

Where data is processed outside the User’s jurisdiction, Biocog applies appropriate safeguards. Data localization is not guaranteed unless contractually agreed.


12. Children’s Data

Biocog services are not intended for individuals under eighteen (18) years of age.

13. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
